Children's Liturgy of the Word (CLOW)

Sacred Heart of Jesus, St. Paul parish and St. Veronica parish offer a program for children during the Sunday liturgy which is geared to children between age 4 and 7. CLOW volunteers bring the children from the church into a special space to talk about the Sunday Scripture Readings using age appropriate language and discussion topics. No registration is required and parents may accompany small children. Please check the parish bulletin for dates/mass times.

K5 Preschool Religious Education

Part of the regular Religious Education program, Southeast Catholic offers a formal class for children age 5 and in kindergarten at a public school. Students use the Stories of God’s Love/Kindergarten series from RCL Benzinger. This Kindergarten program uses a leaflet style format to tell Bible stories as well as contemporary stories which relate to a child of this age. Seasonal lessons are also included.  Pflaum Gospel Weeklies for Kindergarten allows the students to connect to Mass.

Space for only 12 students is open for this grade. Classes follow the calendar for the elementary grades 1-6. Kindergarten students can be registered on the regular form.
