Christian Formation Committee
“In the Archdiocese of Milwaukee, the pastoral council of each parish is to have a Formation Commission or Committee to provide guidance and support for the formational mission of the parish. This is a standing committee of the pastoral council that collaborates with the pastor and staff on programs of evangelization and catechesis. The members help develop and promote opportunities for lifelong faith formation aimed at personal conversion and growth in faith.” Milw. Archdiocese Website
Our cluster has a combined committee which meets on a monthly basis except during the summer. Members of the group work together to plan, implement, and evaluate the various formation activities in each parish and those of the cluster. Activities and programming for all ages are planned for various sites so that parishioners become familiar with all of the parish facilities.
Meetings are held on the third Monday, 6 – 7pm, from August through May. All parish members are encouraged to join the committee or attend a meeting as a guest. Parish bulletins will list the site for 2018-19.
